“Zeilenschmiede,” an artist group from Germany, visited UConn on October 3rd, 2018, to present their approach to getting creative with German: improvisational theater. In a two-hour workshop with one of the German Studies courses, taught by Mareike Geyer, they guided the group through a series of hands-on and get-physical scenes, with some exercises derived from the long history of ad hoc drama production.
