DR. CHRISTINE BENZ
Christine Benz joined TRUMPF Inc. in May 2003, and initially worked as an engineer in the Laser Development Department, where she developed new laser designs. Dr. Benz has been promoted to the manager of project engineering position in the Customer Service group, where she managed large-scale automation projects, before she was promoted to Training & Development Manager. In this role, she is responsible for providing TRUMPF customers in NAFTA with the knowledge they need to operate high-technology equipment successfully. She is also responsible for the continuous training and development of TRUMPF Inc. employees and the technical training of TRUMPF service technicians worldwide. Dr. Benz initiated and oversees TRUMPF Inc.’s successful registered apprenticeship program, and promotes dual education among businesses, educators, and legislators. Christine Benz also serves as a member of Central Connecticut State University’s Industrial Advisory Board.
Dr. Benz earned a B.S. in Micro and Precision engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, Germany, a M.S. in technology management at Central Connecticut State University, and a D.B.A. in Organizational Leadership at North Central University.
