Connecticut/Baden-Württemberg Human Rights Research Consortium receives second Grant to continue through 2026

Prof. Sebastian Wogenstein and Prof. Shareen Hertel (Political Science) won a second grant for the Connecticut/Baden-Württemberg Human Rights Research Consortium (HRRC).  It is a major grant with funding for three years, from July 2023 to June 2026, amounting to over $500,000 combined from the Baden-Württemberg Ministry for Science, Research and Art and support from UConn’s Global Affairs!

The scope of HRRC is significant:

Participating members are: 114 faculty and graduate students from 11 universities and research institutes in Connecticut and Baden-Württemberg (including UConn, Yale, Wesleyan, Trinity College, University Network for Human Rights, Universities of Freiburg, Tübingen, Heidelberg, Konstanz, Mannheim, Max Planck Institute for International Law and International Public Law).
